OUR PILLARS
HEALTH/WELLNESS
MENTAL HEALTH: In today’s society, many young ladies struggle with anxiety, depression, and other social phobias. Much of it has to do with conditioning that causes them to define themselves through social media. PTRP’s mental health curriculum will combat these forces and assist young ladies with healthy, self-affirming definitions.
NUTRITION: PTRP seeks to educate young ladies by offering courses on the role nutrition plays as it relates to athletic performance and bodyweight management.
EDUCATION
STUDY SKILLS: Proper study skills are the foundation of any good student. PTRP aims to assist young women with skills related to time management, organization, and the ability to prioritize assignments related to their coursework.
ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE: Each student faces their own individual struggles when it comes to their education. PTRP provides our clients with access to tutors in the core STEM study areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
ACT/SAT PREPARATION: Academic and athletic scholarships are often awarded based on a student’s ability to perform well on standardized tests. PTRP’s mission is to equip our clients with test-taking strategies and a base of knowledge to ensure they are prepared to perform well.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
PROFESSIONAL PATHWAYS: The vast majority of high school and college students are unaware of the skill set and coursework required to work in their desired profession. PTRP plans to educate our clients in what is required to achieve success in a wide range of professions.
FINANCIAL LITERACY
MONEY MANAGEMENT, BANKING, CREDIT, INVESTING: It’s imperative that our clients understand the basics of the banking system; the importance of money management; the role of credit; and the basics of investing. PTRP aims to provide young ladies with the building blocks to further expand their knowledge of the financial system.

Relevant & Realistic
For our organization’s mission to serve its intended purpose, each pillar must concern an area that is RELEVANT to young ladies today. The goals we strive for in each area must also be REALISTIC based on the metrics we use to evaluate its effectiveness.
Our services must RESONATE with our clients. In other words, we felt it was imperative to tailor our services to the audience we serve, young female athletes. The 4 pillars of PTRP’s purpose were born out of this brainstorming. They serve to develop the “whole woman” of our young athletes and encompass the following areas:
